 | | I am so in love with this Power Poppy "Tea in the Garden" stamp set. I've had it for a while and I am finally creating a card with it. I'm sure that I am not the only one out there that remembers the Jello poke cakes from years ago. If you don't know, you would bake a regular cake, let it bake and then take a skewer and poke holes in the cooled cake. Then you would make jello the regular way by mixing the jello powder with one cup boiling hot water and one cup cold water and pour it over the cake. Once you cut the cake, it would have a pretty colored design on each slice. Correct me if I am wrong with that description...it's been a long time since I made one of those cakes. Well anyway, that is what I wanted to create with this cake stamp and I am happy with the way it came out. Thanks for looking. |
