 | | Such a fun challenge today that I couldn't resist making two cards. I also NEEDED masculine birthday cards and what's better for a masculine birthday card than boating, fishing, and drinking beer, oh, and smoking a cigar--nailed it!
Something old: DP for water and fish stamp. I've had this DP since I started scrapbooking about 15 years ago.
Something new: Poppystamps Stitched Landscape dies are brand new and never used. My stitched cloud trio is also still very new and exciting although I've used it once before.
Something borrowed: The coloring page image and the font for the sentiment.
Something blue: water, sky, jeans, and beer can.
I made the two cards at the same time and I thought I was going to like this one better, but I ultimately fell in love with the other one. I started this one off by deciding to frame the image and layer the water and clouds on top of it. This one has a computer generated sentiment with a free font that I found online. Added the little fish "stamp" to the bottom because I felt like it needed some other kind of embellishment.
Thanks, Sabrina, for another fun challenge! |
