So I might be one of the last demonstrators to have NEVER done the Reflection Technique. It's something I've told myself I wanted to try and then I just never did but now I have! I used Beate Johns' technique found here: Reflection Technique Tutorials at Splitcoaststampers
I found this to be fairly simple. I did originally try this with a hot air balloon and I just didn't like the way it turned out. I rated this card as a 4 because of all the colors I used and the free form water coloring of the water, hills, shoreline and sky. You might notice the weird little dots... in my mind those were going to be a flower field but ended up looking like a purple sheep herd. I did not want to start over so I left my purple sheep herd on the card and am sharing it because we ALL make weird mistakes and that's how you learn what works and what doesn't.
I used a window sheet to create my reflection and it worked out well. I would highly recommend not making your dragon fly mostly blue (Tempting Turquoise) if you're doing this technique because it makes coloring in water and sky a little challenging to show the difference but I managed it alight I believe. Thanks for checking out my card!

Great technique, and I don't think I've ever tried it either! You are so funny about the field of flowers....I would have thought it was a field of flowers not a herd of sheep. LOL Beautiful card!

Great card. Your dragonfly is colored beautifully and its reflection is stunning. I have never tried the reflection technique to my satisfaction. You made it look so easy.
Thanks for teaching us about dots. To me, the dots look like a little village wwwaaayyy far away.
And thanks for sharing.

Absolutely AWESOME card and I love the reflection technique. Oh... and you are NOT the last person to use this technique. I may be! I love the look but have never done this technique and I considered using it for my Technique Card but used a different technique instead when inspiration led me elsewhere.
