I printed this image twice on my toner printer before coloring it with Copic markers. I separated the circles so I could give them unique treatments, and so they could have different elevations off the base. I love dimension!
I bent the rim on the middle circle so it would angle down and show off all that yummy gold embossing paste! I added rhinestone gems around the border and on the base with the sentiment.
I used foam blending tools and Distress Ink to color the center base piece. I want it softer than the Copic segments.
Once I had all the pieces done, I added different amounts of foam dimensionals to raise each layer up from the last.
I mounted it on a piece of embossed black cardstock, then attached that to foam core (used by students for science projects and displays). It makes a stunning part of any shadow box when a few mementos are added.
