This 3D project started with a hardboard letter K. I colored the image from a coloring book with my copic markers, then cut it to fit the letter.
I painted the letter K with black acrylic paint - that gives you really nice edges.
After I cut the coloring book page to fit, I glued it with Mod Podge. I used liquid pearls to give some dimension to the 'berries' on the coloring book image.
I added some sequin strips and pom-pom ribbon to the top, and a cute white picket fence to the bottom. I had some ivy leaves, plastic grapes, burlap and tulle leftover from another project that fit perfectly in the center.
This is a great reminder of home if you have a special loved one away at college. Tuck a cute card into the fence when you send it!

Gorgeous!!! I love those rich saturated colours, the added foliage and the little fence. Great tip on painting the letter black, and great way to use a colouring page.
