OK, I failed at this technique, but what fun would it be if I only shared by successes? I wanted so badly to let my background speak on this card, but it just didn't have anything to say. This is take two of this card. I tried it first with Teal Zeal and Nautical Blue, but it didn't work out--you couldn't really see the flowers, so I decided I needed two shades that were further apart. I tried again with New Sprout and Cottage Ivy. But the New Sprout just didn't show up at all, so I went over it with Pear Tart. The BG still didn't have enough oomph for me, so I just cheated and went in and stamped the flowers in black, so they have green shadows. Ultimately, I like how my card came out, I just don't like that I couldn't make the technique work right.

Welcome to the club Jennifrann - There were alot of us that just couldn't make this technique work . . .but at least you could salvage your piece by overstamping - my first dozen tries were such a globby mess that they all ended up in the trash!
