I used Operation Write Home's Sketch #239 for my design. I die cut the bear from watercolor paper, and then stamped & colored him with my Inktense pencils. (The die for the bear is solid, so it's just easier to die cut first.) Because this card is intended for a child, I made him kind of a blonde bear, just so he looked happier. I also stamped, colored, & die cut the party hat & present. I die cut the grass section from watercolor paper, and blended Twisted Citron ink on that. I also made the sky with watercolor paper, and blended on Tumbled Glass. I assembled the card according to the sketch, using patterned papers from my scrap stash and putting the present in the bear's hands. I stamped the greeting on a scrap of pink cardstock, & die cut it with the oval die. I popped that up on foam tape, adding glue to the part that overlaps the focal panel. Because the focal panel was kind of dimensional with all the layers, adding the foam tape kept the greeting oval level.
