 | | When I saw the challenge I knew I had to make a Xmas card with my snowflake stencil and blue inks. I also wanted to add some ribbon so I could possibly upload the card to 2 challenges....slack I know but time is against me this week.
I wasn't sure what I was going to do and I'm sure there's lots of similar designs out there, but I enjoyed making it.
I sponged the stencil using 2 shades of blue ink, cut out a tag and some snowflakes, added the ribbon and popped them onto the cardstock. I got carried away with the stickles which I forgot hadn't dried and when I turned my card over, oops...it smudged, but fortunately I managed to recover it quickly. Phew!
The sentiment fit neatly at the bottom using the darker blue ink but I'm not one for leaving space whether it be on a card or scrapbook layout, so I added some nuvo drops as well as on the snowflakes.
It didn't take long to make and the photo doesn't show the sparkle clearly (or maybe that's my photography ðY~'), but I think it fits the challenge for CAS as well as the challenge using ribbon. Fingers crossed. Thank you for taking time to look at my card. Happy day |
