Ran the top of my white card base with eb folder thru my machine and had sponged it with blues and browns before running thru machine. Ship image had been given to me a long time ago and said time to use but made a copy of it before using for another time. Colored it, die cut out with circle, then put 2 dies together on tan card stock to make the ring around image---added marks with a marker in 2's around whole circle then used the jute wrapping it around also. Stamped the anchor, colored cut out and used glue dot to pop on. Stamped sentiment on white, then sponged piece of card stock the same blue, glued down sentiment then cut it out and popped it and image up and on card.

Such an awesome guy card. So many unique features...The frame around your boat is awesome...TY for sharing how you did that especially the lines on your circle ant the wrapped string...the ship even has lowered its anchor...kind of a misty foggy bg...just so cool...TFs..:0)

Fantastic! Love the nautical theme. It looks like a porthole on the ship - fabulous! The background embossing is great. Love it all. Into my favs. I have a ship stamp, not quite the same, but I may borrow your idea! TFS

Life is busy and I am very late in getting to comment on last week's challenge - but you can consider that if I had been more timely, this would have been in my favourites list on Sunday. I think it's really beautiful. I love everything about it - the soft colouring, the fussy cutting and layering of the sentiment and, of course, that great sailing ship. One of the very few pictures I have ever bought was one of a sailing ship, and during a difficult time in life I could look at it and just enjoy the sense of peace. I hope Douglas gets the same from this.
