This is for Lee's fun Falliday Challenge to make some snowy leaves. I'm counting pine needles as leaves on this one. I just got new toys and it's so exciting to put one right to use. I inked the flat side of the Pine bough ef with white ink to get a good base coat of white on my Taupe cards. I dried this ink then sponged Mossy Meadow over the needles. I then used a sponge to add more "snow" on the pines and randomly around the card (strategically over messy green ink on the one layer card). I added some shimmer white paint thickly on areas where I thought the snow would accumulate and then spattered some off my brush. I dried this then stamped my sentiment. For the standing card I then layered over Ruby Red onto a Mossy Meadow base.

Love this! I definitely do agree that pine needles are 'leaves'. All pine trees agree with us too. ;) I have to say ... my White pigment ink is going to have to play now that you've inspired me to bring it out! Thanks!
