The colors for this week's challenge suggested Nautical to me. Dessert is ribbon, but I couldn't work it in. These beautiful colors were chosen by Barbara.
I die cut the focal mat, chalked the sky, then sponged the sand and water. Stamped the sentiment. Die cut the sailor, fence and lighthouse, pieced them together (tedious, time consuming and fun) and assembled onto the focal panel. Cut blue and white mats then assembled everything onto a melon base.

Adorable! This card reminds me of the movie, "Some Like It Hot," which we watched again for the zillionth time a few nights ago. Your little sea captain owl looks so serious. He is so cute! Love this pretty and fun scene!
