Okay...this started out as a Sympathy card, but then I discovered that in my stash of sympathy stamps there was nothing that fit on the card or looked right on it after I put everything else on it. So it's morphed into a Thinking of You card. I personally think it would be an acceptable substitute. I'm afraid this photo makes it look more somber than it is. I really like the colors of the stripes and that they are slightly aged, and the small diamond print of the Graphic45 paper which is another paper I've fallen in love with and went back and bought more of. I think it's very distinguished and adds a little class to my stripes. For some reason I've never been comfortable using stripes and have been trying to work with them and bring myself past this hangup. My favorite LSS has just oodles of striped papers. Some are rather plain, but SO many are really Gorgeous and I'm actually looking forward to using some of them for therapy. Someday I will conquer my aversion to stripes! And then the world is mine!!! Snicker
Thanks for taking the time to peek at my card. Have a great rest of the week.

I wish you well in your quest to conquer your aversion to stripes...and world domination GO MISS ELLEN!!!! All jokes aside, I would never have thought you weren't comfortable with stripes, I love how you combined it with the G45 patterned paper. I have re-re-re-re-subscribed to your gallery my friend. Hope you are having a lovely weekend.

Well, I'm a big fan of geometrics and strips are that too. I think strips always work better with paired with another geo shape and you have done that here. Love the combo. A really great looking card!
