Apologies if this upload isn't good. We recieved a new modum from our carrier today telling us it would be three times better than the one we have.
So far we are unable to conect it and we are waiting for the carrier to get back to us.
In the mean time I have had to use my tablet to upload.
Sooooo, this card is for both the Technique Lovers Challenge to use texture on your card and the Clean and simple challenge, to make a single sheet card with a nature theme. I'm pushing the boundaries with the CAS challenge, it's a single sheet card, the poinsettia is from nature and the strip is gold bark ha, ha, ha.
sorry I just have to do as many Christmas cards as possible now so you are going to see a lot more nonsense like this for the next two months.
The texture strip was created by making guides from some heavy gage cardboard and laying the paste down the middle, I then pressed some metalic ribbony stuff into the pastand ran my brayer over it. I waited a couple of minutes then sprinkled gold embossing powder over the past and heated it. The heat made the paste bubble and I ended up with what looks like gold bark.
The ribbon on the bottom is covering up some marks left by the past.
Cheers
Marg
