Sabrina challenged us to use hexagons today. I think SU introduced this dp at the beginning of the hexagon craze. I grabbed it off the clearance rack a while ago. I took it along to DS's orthodontist appointment with minimal extras. I have an order to fill for a customer who wants a bunch of cards, mailable and for cheap. I might have been put off but it's my thrifty cousin so I will grin and bear it and mass produce some CAS cards. Fussy cut the large hexagon dp. Added accents of the smaller punched hexagons in coordinating dp. Some twine here and there, sponged and distressed or rolled edges and varied sentiments.

Gail, your hexagon collection is marvelous and sure to please your thrifty cousin ;) My favorite is the one in the middle. I like the measuring tape and the 5¢

Great work, Gail. The brief would have put me off too, but then I know I don't enjoy creating to order. That DP was certainly perfect for the challenge and makes for a really lovely set of cards.
