This card wasn't as fiddly as it looks. I backed the card with wide double sided tape before die cutting and then peeled off the backing and stuck the die down on some baking paper - making it easy to remove the negative bits and not distorting the die. It was then easy to life the frame and put it down on the water coloured panel. The dark frames on the panel are in fact a rich deep purple - not black as it looks.
