While I can't share the actual challenge details, I can share how I made this gift card holder.
I completely covered a large piece cardstock with a glue stick then laid a sheet of kitchen aluminium foil on top. I let this dry over night then placed it in an embossing folder. I drizzled a bit of alcohol ink refill over the surface and also rubbed in a bit of black acrylic paint.
It was hard to photograph this properly, but there is a little pocket inside that holds a gift card.
Thank you for looking and I hope you can join in the Fan Club fun this week.

Simply fabulous! I love the look of your background with the combined colors! And your bird stands out so well. Just a wonderful design. Thank you so much for being one of my sample makers!

Just about to shut the PC down, and popped by to leave a comment on this sweet bird. I love the extra dimension that you added to tuck the bird over. What a fabulous background, too. It almost looks as if you had sanded it, it has great texture on top of the embossing.

I LOVE metals on cards and this one is a winner! It's one of my favorite looks and works so perfect for a masculine card, often hard to make! You did an outstanding job on this, Susie!
