Made these colorful thank you's for a girlfriend with a mardi gras theme (hence the mask). Although very time consuming, I love how they turned out and no two were alike (50 were made). I hope you like them too. ;)
I've been loving, admiring, and green with envy for the truly gifted and talented people on Splitcoaststampers for years, literally! This is my very first upload and just a tad nervous having all of you view my card and future uploads.
I used graph paper and masking tape for straight lines and varied the size of my stripes for visual interest.
Cut the mask with my Cricut Explore and embossed it for some texture. Popped up using Stampin' Dimensionals.
Stamped my sentiment. Voila!
Colors used are pictured.
Although this was a relatively easy project, I'm giving it a difficulty value of 2 due to time consumption.

What a fabulous job you did with the new plaid technique. I'm so glad you tried it and maybe I can get around to that someday. I'm sure your friend will love and enjoy these. About being nervous to upload, it only takes one or two times and you'll be relaxed and just fine.

Wow, wow, wow you sure nailed the technique!!! At first glance I thought it was designer paper, you did a brilliant job and I live that no two cards are the same. You have inspired me to give this a go. I hope we see lots more of your work Deborah. Welcome to the SCS gallery.

A-M-A-Z-I-N-G! I would give the difficulty at least a 4 for me - I can't do straight lines, like ever. I absolutely love this idea. You did so well! So glad that you chose to upload this here at SCS. Don't be nervous, you are amongst like-minded fellows!

Wow! Your plaids are gorgeous! I am amazed you had the patience to do fifty of them - ten probably would have been my limit. What a good friend you are!
Congratulations on your first upload - don't stop now!

Wow, stunning color combo for the plaid. Love the mardi gras mask, too. These are really beautiful, I'm sure your friend will love them. Can't believe you did 50, that's amazing!

Congratulations on your first upload. Yes pressing that button to upload can be scary. But look at your beautiful creation, I'm so glad you shared it. I love everything about it, the plaid, the colors the mask. Well done.

Oh my goodness! I did not anticipate such support, although partly untrue... my observation through the years should have prepared me for the wonderful remarks because all of you ladies ROCK!!! SCS has such creative and generous participants. We all know how much time and effort goes into our craft, it's fantastic when we can get praise from more than biased family members. heehee
I'm encouraged and bless you all for your leadership and direction.
