This was created special for Mindy's birthday card. She recently commented that she liked my very first upload. This is a newer version of that card.
Happy Birthday, Mindy (MotherMcBride) ;)
Gotta LOVE those stamps and punches that match. These butterflies were done in no time!
The butterflies are mounted on a rubber string, and you 'wind' them up before closing the card. They are supposed to spin when the card is opened. (Hope that worked for you, Mindy!)
I am putting three different views of this card in the gallery so you can see how it's put together.

Can you believe it? I now have my own blog!
Friends are like the walls of a house. Sometimes they hold you up, sometimes you lean on them. But sometimes, it's enough to know they're just standing by.
This card stopped me in my tracks. I was looking for uses for the watercolor minis, just having acquired someone's set. My friend and I get together every week and try a new technique from resources. I will recommend this card for one of our sessios. Question(s) How did you do the clouds? The color of the picture doesn't show how you used the two colors of paper (ameythst and saffron). How did you attach the rubber band and hide where you attached it?
Thanks very much. A very professional card.
