I have been wanting to try the hinged gate fold tutorial which Robin kindly shared as an option for the Hinged Panel Card TLC recently. Her tutorial is attached to the first post in the above-linked thread.
This weekend the time had come...
I used a piece of card 12" wide and 5" high, scoring at 1 1/2", 3", 9 " and 10 1/2". I also trimmed the front panels off at an angle, but otherwise I followed Robin's tutorial.
For the front panels, I stamped the flowers and coloured with pencils, then sponged the sky and a little green in the foreground. Spritzed the sky with some shimmer mist, and added the gates.
Inside, I stamped and masked the mouse, then stamped the flower meadow silhouette across the base of the card with green ink. Sponged and spritzed the sky as for the front. Added the sentiment and Stickles to the dandelion seeds. Since I ended up stamping and colouring the inside panel THREE times, I was able to use the rejects to make two little 1 1/2" wide panels to line the sides of the fold, extending beyond the centre panel you can see here.
