Maura is our hostess this week, and she has challenged us with the beautiful color combination of Bermuda Bay, Elegant Eggplant, and Old Olive. The dessert option is embossing (dry or wet).
I chose dry embossing and used my new folder. It worked fine, but I think I could have (should have) gotten a deeper embossed effect. Next time!
The flower is made from 3 cuts of a flower from the Fun Flowers die, long retired. I used the Faux Suede technique (working the cardstock until the layers could be pulled apart), squished the resulting 6 layers and sponged them with Bermuda Bay ink. I thought it was going to be done with the stem and leaves, but one of the leaf sprays didnÂ’t connect well with the stem, hence the strategically placed Clear Droplets. I like that embellishment on floral cards; they look like dewdrops.
Thanks for stopping by, and please play along with us this week!
