I think this is the last scrap of one of my favorite Paper Mojo dp. Sob. And I think this particular paper is out of stock right now. Of course I had to work the Midas Touch into the card since the dp has gold accents in it. Had to also use a new butterfly die I had been coveting for some time. I love the open airy look of it which seems to go well with the wispy look of the dp. I had no struggles with this card that I can relate to you this time. It was a real treat to make something that I didn't have to lose any body parts for or have to search from the attic to the dungeon to find "just the right embellishment", or have to clean up a spill from a large bottle of glue working it's way over a stack of dp. I can now devote all my time to Spring cleaning. Ha! I'm just going to sit around and do nothing for awhile! It's been a very stressful 30 or so days and I'm ready for a break. There was another ER visit for DH's heart (false alarm). We had to get someone in to fix our furnace (I'm definitely allergic to No Heat!). Called early morning and they could only come late in the day...they may have to order a part?! On another day our garage door lowered itself with an attitude and only came halfway down on the one side as we were leaving for an appointment (DH said we aren't leaving it like this cuz too many creatures can get in there and cause havoc). Noticed a long thick metal part was bent (of course). Found out that no one in the whole world could send a repairman out that day except the very last one of the many we called (funny how that works). We also had a big wind storm that slowly toppled one of our tall old pine trees which gently brushed against the side of our new neighbors thingy on the top of their chimney (Welcome to the Neighborhood!). No damage was done. That was a blessing. But they had to have some friends come and cut up the whole thing and haul it away because it blocked in their car that was about one foot away from our gently fallen pine tree. That saved us a lot of work. They said they hadn't even heard it fall. It had just uprooted. Also DH got a horribly itchy rash on legs and arms caused by a very necessary med for nerve pain. Had to cut back on dosage and eventually worked out pain control, but itching stayed for several weeks...almost gone. Everything has worked out well, all in all. But I have used up an awful lot of stress that I would rather have saved for something like World War III or the earth being struck by a giant asteroid ten times the size of our world. I'm going to go and brew a nice hot cup of my favorite raspberry tea and look out at my personal sunny day and think about beautiful flowering irises and close my eyes to the snow on the iris leaves and the thermometer with very little red showing. May you also have a wonderful day! (Thought I would get by with just a short narrative today since my card was such a simple dimple thing, but I guess not.) I was hoping to be able to fit this into one of the challenges but couldn't find any that it worked for. Thanks for looking anyway.

Oh dear sweet Ellen, you've never mentioned how difficult these last 30 days have been. I am so sorry to hear about all your difficulties. Thankfully, I've still got you in prayer. I'd better turn it up a notch or two given everything that's been happening in and around the Bishop home.
Today is your lucky day. Yup, it is and let me tell you why: Your card 'will' qualify for the CAS372 and WLT58l challenges. For the CAS challenge, all you have to do is paper pierce around your BF or the gold frame you've created. How bout that, huh? Then, for the TLC581 challenge, you can cut out another 3 BF's, stack them together as if they are chipboard. Easy peasy. That's okay, ms Ellen. You're welcome. Hugs and love my friend.:p

Oh my goodness, my heart goes out to you! You certainly have had a rough several days! May God provide you peace and quite for the next 30+ days!! I'm also sorry you're out of that paper as I've loved the cards you've made with it. It's beautiful and it's all one needs to make a card pop! God bless you and yours!

Oh Ellen, if even one of those things had happened to me, I would be in bed with the covers pulled over my head. Actually, just the snowy wheather would be too much for me. And here, with all that going on, you made this amazing card. The gold looks beautiful with that gorgeoue blue paper. You are right about the butterfly, it is the perfect finishing touch. You will be in my thoughts and prayers...hopefully, all tge bad stuff was squished into the past 30 days, and the next 30 days will be filled with good health and good fortune.

Gorgeous card - great use of that beautiful paper and a lovely reminder of spring with the butterfly. Hope the temperatures start to rise for you and some good days lie ahead.

I'm so impressed with this lovely, elegant card. Simplicity is always best and your card expresses that beautifully.

Not sure which I enjoyed more your narrative or your beautiful card! Sorry, I'm giggling - what happened to you isn't funny, but the way you explained it is. Good to see you've maintained your sense of humor.

Okay, I've cut you some slack because I'm a nice guy (ahh...girl). Let's face it though, 17 days between uploads is a little much don't you think? I mean really...can you crank it up just a little and get back on the bandwagon?
I've still been looking at the gorgeous papers you sent and the ones you forced me to buy for $56. I can't die cut the gold on cork very well and it would break my heart to use it as a bg. I need to take time to think about my making cards with colors and papers more. When I decide to make a card, it's whatever happens to be right in front of me that I scarf up. I have your papers in a special place so I don't get them crushed or ruined. Getting crushed and destroyed is an easy thing to have happen in my chaotic world. I've missed you., Ms. Ellen. Hopefully, everything is better this week than last. Still praying diligently for your guys. Hugs and love my friend. xx
