This is just by way of playing with the Karen Burniston Garden Bench pop-up die from Elizabeth Crafts, which was part of my "Moddy Christmas" shopping - thank you!!
I cut the bench in a piece of white card which was 5 3/4" square. And I really wanted to add balloons tied to the bench, so then of course I needed a base card taller than just 6" - luckily I have a pad of card which is about 14" long, and I used a sheet of that, with die-cut crochet borders to pad out the original white base.
After cutting the bench, I added panels of blue Bazill and green DP. Added clouds, and a birthday sentiment and some little flowers cut from a scrap of origami paper which was on my desk.
For the balloons, I stamped 4 red and 2 yellow, and the ribbons on blue. To have something stiff enough to hold them as if they were floating, I used florists' wire, sandwiching it between a pair of balloons - and then the fronts of the balloons were finished with two coats of clear EP for gloss..
Still a learning curve - I did better on this, my second attempt, at filling in the background panel - but it's still hard not to have some of the final card base showing along the centre fold.
I have a bunch of May birthdays, so I'll do a front to suit the recipient when I decided where this is going; today was just for playing with the die.

This is such a cute card, Sabrina. Now I have to add engineering talent to your long list of accomplishments. The balloons turned out terrific, the white lace border is so cheerful, and you chose great colors. Love it.

I like to do simple Pop-ups for my grandkids but this adult version is ADOREABLE . . . As I am one of the few stampers in the world who DOESN'T own a die cut machine I'll just pine away wishing I could re-create this . . .

I am so glad you told us how you did the balloons b/c they caught my eye immediately-that isnt the "normal" pop height-it's way more in the air. How clever is that wire! I am keeping this in my inspiration folder!
I didnt notice about the center fold till you said...I think it's totally fine as is.
Great card! Someone lucky will get it!
