A big congrats to Rose, the newest Featured Stamper! She has such a fun gallery & I chose THIS to case. I kept the happy color combo & birthday theme, but I used all die cuts instead of images & used designer paper for my background.
I always need a ton of birthday cards for March so keeping the birthday theme was perfect. I used a new Birthday die & paired it w/ the Happy die & the Reverse Balloon die (I used some of the positive balloons cuts). I die cut the red stripe layer & the white topper & my first thought was to split the white panel in two & add the Birthday in the middle. Then after die cutting the Birthday, I liked how it looked left with the upper portion of the white but with the lower section removed, so I left it.
I added a couple of pieces of card stock behind it to elevate it a bit from the red stripe paper. I die cut some of the balloons & confetti out of the red stripe & added them next to the double stacked Happy.
Congrats again, Rose! Thanks so much for looking. Closeups & the inside are on my blog: The Write Stuff

Julie ~ This is a wonderful birthday card. It's so fun with the unique die-cutting on HB. Love the balloons and how you looped one string around the curve of the letter D. Such lovely attention to details! Great card from a beautiful inspiration choice. TFS
