CAS362 Celebrate Purple

Poster: catluvr2

For today's CAS challenge "A Purple Birthday Celebration". After coloring the image, I die cut it and stamped the sentiment - added a black backing (so the piercing would show up) and popped it up on the embossed base. Ran a purple pen over the embossed/raised border. Dies: Spellbinders/Pierced Rectangle and Imperial gold Rectangle One. Added a pearl to the center of each flower.

I rated it a 4 for difficulty because coloring is still a challenge for me.

This is just gorgeous, Priscilla. The colors on the butterfly are amazing. The embossed and colored frame looks wonderful. Such a happy card...into my favs.

You would never know that coloring is a challenge for you looking at those beautifully shaded flowers and leaves!! Love the accent of coloring the little square embossing, really sets off the image!!
