Usually my western cards are browns, rusts, vanilla. Her bright yellow, grey and white color combo really roped me in. I needed a western card for an older friend who loves the old west and cowboys, so I always send him one for the “birthday” of Arizona’s statehood on Feb 14th, 1912. I loved her grey wood background. So, I used the hardwood background stamp on Smokey Slate CS with Basic Grey ink.
For my CASE, I changed the following:
Cute & girly to masculine
Paper piecing (super cute) to solid stamping
Layout at the bottom is altered, so itÂ’s not a CASE of the sketch
Different sentiment and used only the star, not the circles.
Used dry embossing
Great card to be inspired by and a fun card to make!
Congrats MochaFrap! Thanks for sharing your beautiful cards with us.
I was so inspired that I made two FS cards this time. TFL

What a wonderful pair of cards! I tip my hat to you ma'am! I visited Arizona two years ago and loved it - so Happy Birthday to Arizona as well! That weathered barn board background looks great behind your bucking bronco!
