This group of colors was a challenge for me. I don't own mint macaroon, so I substituted pistachio pudding. All stamps were from the kit mentioned above. I made the bg with the hearts and the boy and girl were stamped in versamark and embossed in black...their clothes were highlighted with todays' colors. I don't have any of the card stock. My little cheat is to take my marker and edge white card stock OR drag it through the ink pad (which I did for card base as I don't own the pistachio pudding marker)...I dyed my vanilla seam binding in strawberry slush and heated it a bit to get a bit of a distressed look. This will go to my husband.

pretty card Pam and I am glad to see you took the dessert challenge and made a Valentine card with these non-traditional colors-I love this mint macaron color paired with the strawberry and espresso - it makes me want to have one of these French delicacies

Cute retro valentine, Pam. I'm impressed with the heart bg DP you created,,,would have thought it was purchased had you not mentioned it. The boy and girl are "retro charming".
