Audrie.....you rock.....you come up with the most creative ideas.
I don't usually make envelopes for my cards. When I do a quilled card, however, I have to because they have to be a special size (in depth). I love making them.....I think they add the perfect elegant finish to a card.
For today's challenge, I wound up straying quite a bit.....but this is where I started.

Jo, so YOU....elegant and classy. Love the gold embossing on the neutral envelope. Embossing the bricks on the flap in vertical position is genius....and unexpected. Love it! Your card is equally as stunning.

Love the embossed flap on the envie and gold branches, Jo! I see you used that bg stamp again...so you took my advice; good girl! ; ) Love this birthday card which looks more like a wedding card to me~
