I started by embossing the flower with silver and decided that I'd use purple to colour it (not a colour I use often). I love how they compliment each other. I used my Zig Clean Color brush markers again on Mixed Media paper. I love how the ink flows on that paper.
I randomly inked up a grid stamp, and heat embossed it in silver as well. I wanted to experiment and see if it would make an interesting background. Love how it turned out. I fussy-cut the flower and popped it on top.

WOW, what gorgeous watercoloring and I just love your technique of embossing in silver or gold before coloring! It looks so elegant! That grid is on my wish list too since I've seen you use that subtle background before! LOVE that too!
