We have a tradition in our family to make Christmas cookies on the first Saturday of December. It always has been a fun day.....now the grandkids join us. It's amazing how much colored sugar, sprinkles etc ends up on the floor. This is a coloring page from the internet. Water colored....added puffy paint for the frosting with some stickles. Embossed the main panel and sponged around the edges. TFL

Linda, I don't know which is more heartwarming, your card or your tradition! The cookies look REAL with your expert painting! Love that your tradition continues with kids!

Linda, those colours are making my heart sing on a dull cold grey day, the blue is gorgeous. And the cookies look good enough to eat.
Yes - it's amazing how much ends up on the floor! I remember icing and decorating a wedding-cake for a friend in her parents' house, and her rather house-proud mother kept sweeping the floor around me all the time.

Such a sweet card for the holidays - we make cookies every year with our grandkids, as well : ) I love the puff paint; it makes your frosting look positively real!
