hi there,
Here is my card for the F4A challenge today; Fall Colours. Very simple card.
I applied some Gesso randomly over a stencil and let it dry. It gave such a great texture to my background...sorry it is so hard to see in the photo.
I inked the leaf stamp with Distress inks, sprayed with water and stamped. When they were dry, I die-cut them out and popped them onto my card front. Added the sentiment and done.

LOVE LOVE the dry brush effect you achieved by using the gesso. Karen. Your CAS card is lovely and doesn't look "simple" at all....full of interest, yet maintaining the CAS style. Have a great week-end, mf : )

Beautiful leaves!!! Love the colors you have chosen. These fall colors are my favorites. I've tried making fall leaves for the first time, would like to do some more playing around with them. This is a wonderful CAS card!!! I've never played with gesso, I'd like to try... Glad you mentioned it and the stencil, it's a cool texture on your card. I find it tough to photograph various textures, especially glitter and glimmer, I am learning as I go.

Oh I love this Karen! Your colors are so crisp and pretty and I LOVE that sentiment...I have it but maybe a different stamp co. because mine is not nearly so big and bold. I like yours much better! Beautiful! Thanks for playing today!

Oh Karen, my one wish is to make even a single CAS card that turns out half as nice as this. You have such an amqzing sense of design. I love every detail of this beautiful card.

What a beautiful CAS card, Karen. I (kind of, there are a lot of advantages to a temperate climate, though) wish I lived somewhere where that sentiment would be true, and we could see such beautiful leaf changes as you have captured here.
