I had never tried the salted technique for backgrounds, but had always wanted to. I saw another SCS member's card with this stamp and a similar color background that I wanted to try to duplicate because I found it so beautiful. I immediately ordered the stamp set! And I love it, and really love this soft sanded look, and will definitely try this again (I used kosher salt). I think it adds dimension to a CAS card, which is always a good thing.
