For the triple layer large butterfly I used an origami paper that is really thin and pliable. It had four colored quadrants and I positioned a wing over each one. I then used a second sheet of origami paper for the second layer. The top layer is plain vellum. I accented with pearl adhesive dots. Then I made 3 small butterflies using a Martha Stewart punch and the same origami paper, just 1 layer, and the plain vellum. The sentiment is from the Tim Holt 'Celebrate' thinlets set. Finally, I embossed the card using a Darice embossing folder and my Big Shot.

Wow! This is gorgeous. Love how you used the colored paper and velum to make the butterflies, especially the largest one. The embossed background is a lovely touch. I like the die-cut thank you. Very nicely done!! Thanks for sharing. Welcome to SCS.

How beautiful, and I love how you've used the butterflies and placed them so perfectly! I love the colors and the embossed background, and the word die is lovely! Such a gorgeous card! Hugs!
