For my ombre background, I used Ranger dye reinkers and a wide brush, increasing the amount of water as I went down the panel. (This is Shizen watercolor paper, which is 100% cotton, super textured, and very fun to work with.)
After the panel was dry, I stamped the poppy image (Crafter's Companion), and brushed inside the outline with bleach so I had a white image to color in. The poppies were colored with a mix of dye reinkers and watercolor markers.
The sentiment is one of my designs, which is between companies right now... it's stamped on a diecut from Simon Says Stamp. |
