This week we have the most exciting tea party!!! We are off to New York to bring the party to a regular spit fire who happens to be 102 years young and used to be a professional dancer in the big band era. I absolutely LOVE big band music and am so happy to be going to this party!!!!! And I'm bringing my fancy dancin' shoes by golly, which are all sparkly, even if you have a hard time seeing it in the photo. Even my nylons are sparkly. Can't dance to big band if we aren't all gussied up!! My large white mat is embossed using a cuttlebug folder. My large border punched strip is Island Indigo. My image is matted on a long retired SU color of Marvelous Magenta and popped up over my Island Indigo strip. The image is colored using Spectrum Noir markers and then I took the clear Spica Glitter Pen and added sparkles all over my nylons, shoes & bows. Lastly, I added some frosted pearls. My inside sentiment reads: "give a girl the right shoes and she can conquer the world". TFL ladies...............It don't mean a thing, if it ain't got that swing, doo whap, doo whap, doo whap!!!!!!!!

Nice colours, and I like the sparkly embossing. I used to have a pair nylons like this, with the seam down the middle, many, many moons ago! I am also quite envious of your marker collection.
