| | This is my first time as a guest hostess on the color challenge team! I am excited to be a part of a challenge that I look forward to every week - and to team up with such talented card-makers!
This week our color challenge is to use 2 or more of the retiring in-colors: baked brown sugar, crisp cantaloupe, coastal cabana, strawberry slush, and pistachio pudding
*Dessert is to use bakers twine or sequins- in the above colors.
I chose 2 of our colors: Pistachio Pudding and Crisp Cantaloupe (subbing Melon Berry). I have loved this flower die from Penny Black - so simple but elegant. I die cut it twice and sponged the ink on the flowers for one, and the leaves and stems on the other. Then I cut the flowers off the one die and attached to the leaves and stems (but not before spritzing with my favorite shimmer mist, for some sparkle, of course!). Used some pp for a background and my stitched rectangle die cut is popped up for dimension. Added desert with my sequins.
Come join us for a great color challenge!
