Judy - what a super-fun challenge! It would take a bit of practice to develop finer skills, but it brought back memories of my cake-decorating days.
I drew my design, laid it under my non-stick sheet and then drew it with the glue.
After laying it on the paper, I sprayed with some acrylic sprays in dark brown and sea green. I wanted to add an owl, so went hunting for a sentiment to use and came up with this one, which is embossed with clear EP.
I added my little owl, and some raindrops with acrylic paste and glitter. Edged with the sewing machine and that's it; this will go to a friend going through a hard time just now.

Oh Sabrina, this is just the sweetest card. I love the little owl and the sentiment. Great idea to draw your design first. If I did even half of the things you gave done - cake decorating... which life was that- it would take me 3 lifetimes. I lov your stitching. Faved.

Great idea to draw your design first and then put the craft sheet over it before putting the glue down, Sabrina. You're SO SMART!! Cute card with the fun bg and the glimmering owl.
