I would love to win a MISTI to give to my mother. She "borrows" mine whenever she has the chance and I think she'd love to have one of her very own. This card was actually part of a set of cards I made for her on request because she couldn't get the tree branches to line up with an acrylic block. My mom started my love of papercrafting when I was 10 years old but as she's gotten older stamping has gotten more difficult (she ends up with lots of smudging and smearing when trying to stamp with acrylic blocks or wood-mounted stamps)...winning and giving this amazing creation to her would be such a wonderful gift! I created this card using the MISTI to help intentionally offset the leaves and blossoms for a shaded look. This is a particularly difficult stamps set to line up as each set of leaves has to touch a specific branch. The MISTI makes it so very simple! ;) Ha!
