Today's challenge is to make a card and identify whether we are a tortoise or a hare when it comes to card making (WT524). Well, there is no hesitation for me when I answer unequivocally: Tortoise!! I take FOREVER to make a card - so many choices, so many decisions! This card took me about 1 1/2 hours and that would be probably an average time for me. It's a good thing I enjoy the process as much as I do, or it would never make sense to spend that kind of time on a card!
Did a watercolor wash on a masked piece of wc cs for the background and was planning on making this a fast OLC (!), but too much water seeped out from my mask so I had to cut it down and frame it (and mat it too, of course). The frame is popped up with dimensionals - I think that adds so much to a card!

It's usually all about the process for me too - or I enjoy colouring while I am on the phone with my dad! I love the text on this, and those strong colours. The silhouettes lend themselves so well to a sympathy card.

It might take you awhile, but your cards are always stunning. Today's card had a mind of it's own...had to seep through. It just wanted you to frame it,because it really makes the colors pop. Wonderful card. Thanks for playing in the challenge.
