| Don't know where I ran onto this technique but I love it. I am trying to learn more about how to do it on YouTube. I didn't have the right tools so used a white ball point pen and a little tool on the other end of my paper piercing tool to trace around the image stamped with white ink and shade it. You work from the back of the paper. This is an old art form that was used to decorate pages in early bibles. They used real animal skin parchment of course. I decided I really would like to pursue it with the right tools so got on ebay and went wild. Today I got a call from my bank. "Did you know your ebay account is overdrawn?" NO!! SAY IT ISN'T SO" I transferred some money over and told her about this new art form I was so excited about and she made me come in and show her this card. I have a great bank, they take good care of me and would never bounce a check due to my stupidity. |
