For VSNMAR15B - Scavenger Hunt. Requirements were to use 6 items on the list:
1) neutral layer with some distressing - sand, tearing
2) Metal embellishment - mussel charm & brad
3) soft item - fibers as feathers on flamingo
4) stamped image of something you would find on an island - flamingo
5) colored layer what is dry embossed - the sand piece is embossed and the blue paper came with an embossed texture.
6) doodling - this part tripped me up, after three tries I settled on this one
WHEW!!
I'm not even sure on how long this card took me to make. I spent so much time scavenging for the things on the list, I forgot to set my timer! I ended up getting lost in the hunt, finding other cool goodies I forgot I had and organizing things at the same time lol!

Favourited, I love everything about this. Brilliant background, I adore your flamingo and its plumage, and the mussel just reminds me of all the hours I spent on the beach when growing up.

I agree that your flamingo is tops! Well done - I spent the week cleaning my room so I could find the stuff I wanted and found a lot of stuff I forgot about! Glad you found some too! tfs

Oh, clever you to think of a feather for the soft element! This is a fabulous card, and I love that there's just a little corner of doodling - so perfect!

This is a perfectly planned card! You brought all these elements together in a great design. I love how the doodling draws attention to the sentiment. Your flamingo is beautiful!
