The medallion is absolutely breathtaking. It really does go with the Asian theme. Especially with the added lantern with the three tassels hanging from it. The background paper is perfect with the medallion. The figure in black and white is a great contrast to the backdrop. I'm kind of thinking of her as walking past a beautiful Oriental building of some sort with the lovely medallion on it's outside wall directly behind her. LOVE it!!!

I LOVE this stunning embossed medallion--SO elegant!!! I have been admiring this one myself--looking at it on the Spellbinders site...
I am not terribly familiar with this Asian style, and have enjoyed looking at the cards you have made this week in this style, they are beautiful! This medallion definitely takes center stage, and it pulled me in, wow--it's gorgeous!
Thank you again for the VERY kind comment you left on my recent card--you encouraged me and really touched my heart. I am so grateful.

I think your card is delightfully enigmatic! What is the story behind this girl's expression? Where is she going and where has she been? I love cards with a story. :-) Aside from all that I really love your balanced accents of copper/gold. The splash in the background, the tie (obi?), the coiling twine. ...and thank you for informing me today; I looked up mizuhiki. I didn't know what that meant and now I do! Love your card.
