 | | This card is for the Baker's Dozen Monthly Card Kit Swap. The kit for January was from Roxie. She gave us supplies to go "Chic", which is all new to me! My first card is shabby chic style. I've learned that Shabby Chic or Country Cottage involves pinks and soft greens, lace, burlap and flowers. Am I on the right track? I had fun trying to figure out the style and putting together my "chic" cards. This is the first one. I cut the word "HI" from the back of designer paper from the kit and popped it up on Dimensionals. I didn't have any lace on hand, so I stamped it on. The image is different for me. I watercolored the girl with various SU! colors. Working with new and different things is what makes the kits so fun. The challenge of getting my "chic" on was indeed a challenge!
