Thanks Karen for a great CC today - a really crumby espresso! I didn't go for dessert - no punches, but I used a lot of dies & I didn't make two cards.
A few weeks ago I saw a card by CathyMac using this set & had to order it. I loved the sentiment. I started by stamping onto SN Ultra Smooth White paper & coloring the image with Spectrum Noir markers. Then I die cut & sponged lightly while still in the die. Added some layers & embossed by opening the folder, placing the paper, the tan mat then the plates & embossed. You don't get as deep of an impression that way. I sponged with Espresso around the thought bubble & popped it up. Inside is Eliza Craft Happy Birthday in Real Red along with a sentiment. I'm sure my friend will get a kick out of this.
Thanks for stopping by.

How fun, Karen! Love that sentiment with that image. What great layers and embossing with a die, something I do hope you show me! It made me smile too!
