Shaker Ornament

Today I made a shaker card for the current challenge at Muse - #99 (Vicki Dutcher is providing the inspiration!).

I had fun making this, but the sequins stuck all around the edge. I've since been advised to using my embossing buddy along the inside edge before adding the sequins, etc. ... will give that a try next time --- great tip from my friend Karen Bourke.

My thought was the recipient could actually remove the ornament from the card base and hang it on the Christmas tree.

No stamping, no ink on this card. Just some fun!

Cute! And I love the idea of the upcycling to turn it into an actual ornament.

Yes, some of my sequins stuck on sides, too, when I did my first one. Great hint for solving that problem -- thanks for passing it along, Loll.

What a wonderful card and love that the ornament is removable! I also love the look of the sequins sticking to the acetate! I haven't done one in 7 years but you inspired me to try it again! How fun this one is!

Oh so beautiful and so cute too Loll. Happy colors. How smart to use pattern paper. Love the red twine and jump ring. That bit of silver just adds that little extra.
