 | | This is a thank you card for my wonderful friend Mary. The flower was cut on my Cricut, formed with a bone folder and stylus. The center has a fabric bead. The tendrils are from a partial Memory Box die cut and the springy ones from leftover fine trimmings from my cutter, wrapped around the end of a paint brush to curl. The cut under the flower, that looks a bit like a flourish was also cut on my Cricut. The thank you is another SVG file shared with me from my good friend Pam (Yorkie Mama) and cut on the Cricut. The panel behind was cut with a Spellbinder die and embossed with the Swiss Dot EF. The black panel was cut with the Life Style Craft rounded edges. I used the rounder on my envelope punch board to round the edges of the card base. I finished the inside off with other cuts from the same Spellbinder set, in black and ivory.
Mary is my hero...struggling with bone cancer and still having such a generous heart. She sent a special gift for Ed and I this Christmas.
As usual, I appreciate you taking the time to come by for a peek! |
