I stamped my image in pale gray for a no line coloring look and stamped additional branches along the edge of the card. Colored the bird with copics and enhanced with pencils. Darkened the branches with pencil and added the red paint to the berries. Sponged the sky using a torn piece of paper with grays, pink and a bit of pale blue. Ran it through the printer for the sentiment, misaligned the whole thing and printed over the image. Had to start all over. Added just a little iridescent ice on the edges. Dang, I hate when that happens. Another senior moment. Thanks for stopping by.

I knew this was yours Nancy, not because of a certain style but due to the fact that it was just so striking. Your no line coloring turned out so nicely...what a soft, fluffy bird. Your grays in the bkg are gorgeous. As far as the sentiment, I would never be able to get something to print anywhere near where I wanted. Right into my favs.

That bites that you had a printer oops...hate when that happens. But the outcome is totally gorgeous, Nancy! Your coloring and the entire scene are fantastic!

Hi Nancy! Wow! This winter scene is amazing! The berries are a wonderful pop of color against your neutral background. Love the sky! I am impressed that you started all over after the sentiment mishap. I would never have had the patience to do that. Thanks so much for the sweet, comments you leave in the galleries.

Oh, Nancy, this is stunning, I was shocked when you said you stamped this image. I was sure you painted this sweet sparrow by hand. Your coloring and pencil strokes make this a true work of art. And your BG is amazing. A cold snowy winter day with one lone sparrow. Stunning card!!!!!
