This is actually my 3rd take on the inspiration piece, I'm still not quite satisfied with the other two. The challenge of the inspiration piece is raising a very delicate image so you can retain the contrast and shadows.

Oh how I adore this! I love how the clean crisp patterns and shadows in these paper cutouts are set against the rough kraft paper. And the adorable little windows through which you can see houses! It really is spectacular.
