A big congrats to Barb, the newest Featured Stamper! Wow what a gallery! After much browsing, I chose THIS to case. I kept the layout and Christmas theme, but I used different images, different colors & stars instead of poinsettias.
After stamping & coloring, I die cut the nutcracker & matted it with red. I die cut the right edge of the striped paper along with a white layer using a bracket border die.The front of the white card was embossed using the largest die of the ODBD Flourished Star Pattern set. I die cut a & added all the little stars. I used one of the triangles from the ODBD Pennant dies to make the fishtail on the greeting banner. The blue background was embossed & I used a white chalk maker to highlight the raised embossing.
Congrats again, Barb! Thanks so much for looking! Closeups and the colors of Copics are on my blog: The Write Stuff

MY BL has a nutcracker collection, he would love this as well as I. So Christmassy, colorful and fun. Love the red , white and blue. Neat job with the embossing and softening it like that with the chalk, and all the pretty stars...so pretty....TFS..:0)

Julie, the design on this is fab with the dies, embossing, and stars. I love how you totally made the paper work for Christmas. I am going to have to get some of that paper! Beautiful nutcracker card and case. Hugz
