My nephew requested a handmade Christmas card for his new girlfriend. When I saw this item http://www.pendleton-usa.com/product...55/pc/1816.uts I thought..well what the heck why not! I have had this stamp for a long, long time but hardly ever use it so decided to mess with his head a little (as Aunts are allowed to do) and make the requested card. Apparently the new girlfriend loves Rottweilers! Who knew...joke on me!! LOL I coloured the doggie with prisma pencils and OMS and sponged some background snowbanks. The hardest part was tying the blasted bows..especially the tiny gold one. I love the plaid background paper from Mikes and as an afterthought decided to use the embossing folder from SU. Hope he likes it or it's back to the drawing board!!

I love your card!! The rott is beautiful!! The plaid paper is nice, and I love the embossing and your bows. You did a great job with the bows - I don't use them too often as they are the killer for me too.

Beautiful card. Love the big Christmas bow on the dog and admire the perfection in your bows - my fingers refuse to co-operate when making bows and they always turn out a crumpled mess. This is a great card for those that love all creatures great and small.

What an AMAZING job you did coloring this! She will probably be over the MOON with this if she loves Rottweiler's. What is even MORE amazing is that you had this stamp...Love how you designed this and your bows are spectacular! The plaid is the perfect background. The trick banner type sentiment holders that you have been doing ROCKS! Well done...
