My nephew requested a handmade Christmas card for his new girlfriend. When I saw this item http://www.pendleton-usa.com/product...55/pc/1816.uts I thought..well what the heck why not! I have had this stamp for a long, long time but hardly ever use it so decided to mess with his head a little (as Aunts are allowed to do) and make the requested card. Apparently the new girlfriend loves Rottweilers! Who knew...joke on me!! LOL I coloured the doggie with prisma pencils and OMS and sponged some background snowbanks. The hardest part was tying the blasted bows..especially the tiny gold one. I love the plaid background paper from Mikes and as an afterthought decided to use the embossing folder from SU. Hope he likes it or it's back to the drawing board!!

How cute - a dog lover's card! I love the way you used the red bow on his collar and that cut out gift box is great. Also loving that plaid bg!!

I really like that your nephew asked you for a handmade card for his girlfriend. He must LIKE this girl! :-) Fantastic colouring on your Rottie. He looks perfect sporting his festive bow. Love the plaid background and the folding you did on that sentiment banner. Wonderful card. I'm sure it will be a hit!
